Drivers post a Quest with the route they're already driving, the dates, and a per-seat price. Verified riders heading the same way bid to ride along at that price or send their own offer. The driver picks who rides.

On QuestERide, drivers post the trip. Riders browse driver Quests along their route and bid to ride along. Riders can also post the route they're looking for so drivers can invite them.

Drivers set the price. Typical fair-price ranges run from $10 for short intercity hops up to $250+ for cross-country legs. QuestERide takes a flat 5% from each side — 10% total — with no surge pricing.

Every driver clears government ID verification and a Checkr background check before they can post a route. Every accepted trip includes live trip sharing with up to five trusted contacts, a silent safe-word system, and 24/7 SOS with GPS.

If a driver cancels a confirmed bid, riders are automatically matched to the next best driver on the same route. Repeat cancellations remove a driver from the platform.

Every accepted trip is covered by a $1M umbrella liability policy on top of the driver's own auto insurance.

For most cross-country routes, yes. QuestERide skips baggage fees, airport transfers, and last-minute fare surges. For medium-haul routes it's typically faster than Greyhound or Amtrak.
