How fares are calculated

What goes into a QUESTeRIDE fare

QUESTeRIDE is a ticket-style long-distance marketplace. The driver posts a trip and sets the price per seat based on factors like:

• Trip distance
• Estimated travel time
• Tolls, airport fees, and other government-imposed charges
• Demand for the route and date

Riders see the total seat price before confirming a booking. Any applicable taxes or processing fees are itemized at checkout, so the amount shown is the amount you pay.

Platform fee

QUESTeRIDE retains a 5% platform fee. The driver receives the remaining 95% after the trip is completed. Example: a $120 seat results in $114 to the driver and $6 retained by the platform.

Receipts

After a trip is confirmed and paid, riders receive an electronic receipt showing the origin, destination, trip date, total seats, and total fare paid.
