Safety on long-distance rideshare: how QUESTeRIDE protects riders and drivers

Long-distance rideshare means hours in a car with a stranger. Trust has to be earned before the trip, not during it.

Driver screening

Drivers must complete the application and background-check process before posting trips. Riders create an account to book; rider government-ID screening is not promised. Screening cannot guarantee safety.

Route and price are public

Because drivers post their route publicly and riders book seats on it, the trip is documented before it starts. There's no ambiguity about where you're going or what it costs.

Share your trip

Send your route, driver details and travel plans to a trusted contact before you leave. Agree on check-ins; trip updates are not live GPS tracking.

Trip support

For trip questions contact support@questeride.com or (256) 361-9415. This is not a monitored emergency line; call 911 in an emergency.
